Enes made a great point about lights, I never leave lights or TV's on if I leave the room and it really makes a big difference each month on my electricity bill. I had a roommate/renter one year that constantly left his TV and bedroom light on and that cost me an extra $20 a month. Probably would have been $50 had I not always shut stuff off for him. I never shut my computer off which probably isn't the greatest idea, but I use it so much it just doesn't make sense to always be shutting it down and then turning it back on. Anyone have any idea how much it costs to run a typical desktop computer?
