FS: 1992 GSX (white)

It is a white 1992 Eclipse GSX that I am the second owner of since June of 1997 (first owner was a lady from Hasting MN). The car hasn't seen a winter since 1999. I have complete records since then including receipts (most) of everything done, date and mileage at the time of the part installed. I have never cared much for drag racing. I have attended no more that two dozen open track events including the former AARRF events and Corvettes of MN.

Enough sentimental stuff - here's most of what's on the car:

1992 Eclipse GSX with 86,700 miles - no winters since 1999

Engine:
  • Head = just installed - remanufactured - 3G lifters
  • 6-bolt block (1 over bore) 2G cermic coated pistons
  • Cometic Head Gasket
  • ARP Bolts throughout
  • AWD tranny with upgraded internals - rebuilt with updates at 81,400 miles
  • ACT 2300 installed, slightly used ACT 2600 comes with it
  • ACT light flywheel
  • LSD Rear (4-bolt)
  • ABS
  • 2G MAS with Dejon intake and K&N
  • Big 16G turbo (seals good)
  • 550cc RC Engineering Injectors
  • J pipe
  • Buschur FMIC
  • SPAL fans (2)
  • TB seals replaced
  • Ported 2G exh. man.
  • Ported 2G O2 housing
  • Archer Racing 2.5 downpipe
  • Buschur 3.0 cat back
  • Fluidyne Radiator
  • 90 oil cooler
  • 90 oil filter housing
Suspension:
  • KYB AGX with Ground Control Coilovers
  • Ground Control Adj. Camber Plates up front
  • Ingalls Rear upper control arms
  • Eibach Springs (550F 450R)
  • ST Rear Swaybar
  • Front STB
  • Two piston brake calipers with correct proportioning valve
  • SS lines
  • Powerslots
  • 17" Konig Villans & 16 American Racing Spyders (plenty of tire left on both)
  • Energy Suspension bushings (except subframe)
Electronics/Gauges:
  • SAFC (Gen 1)
  • EPROM ECU with Technomotive Stage III
  • FP rewire with Walbro
  • Pocketlogger with Palm 125
  • Boost, EGT, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Water Temp (A-pillar and center vent)
  • White face stock gauges
  • Apexi Turbo Timer
  • Racer Wholesale Inj. Duty Cycle/AF gauge (blinky lights)
Misc:
  • Carbon fiber hood vent
  • Holes cut in seats for 5-point harness
  • Interior is AWESOME except the seat which I cut for belt grommets
  • Exterior is 8 out of 10 (couple scratches mostly on plastic, no dings/dents, no visible rust)
  • Flip-up Sun Roof not factory
This car handles awesome, very neutral (no oversteer/understeer). Buried speedometer at Brainerd 145mph+ with in-car video to prove it. I have never been in an accident with it - never off track.
AC Removed
Cruise Removed (have parts)

I used to have those Spyder wheels on my first Talon! Solid old school car, Ken has been around forever too and does things right.

Thanks for the complements! After driving it around a bit lately - it's going to be hard to sell it - these are fun cars!!

I have been struggling with the price. I know you guys will correct me and the market will do it's job - I would be satisfied with $6,000 and I am basing that on what I have seen on ebay and auto trader. If you think that's too high, come take a look and then toss numbers at me. I have a lot of spare parts to go with the car or get rid of after the sale that I will not need any more.

Tread life on the semi-performance tires is about 50% or slightly more and the Spyders with the M+S tires have 70-80% left.

That price should be in the ball park for a pretty clean car and decent mods. If it is a very clean car, then it is a good price. Good luck with it Ken!

Re: FS: 1992 GSX (white)

Clutch was slipping so a new disc is coming and the 2600 ACT is going in. Should be done by the end of the week (05/25) if anyone is interested.

Had one guy look at it and disappear. He said it was the cleanest 1G he had ever seen. Everything on this car is in great shape! No short cuts taken.

The car is still for sale. I have had one person actually come and look at it so far. It's hard to believe that it hasn't gone, yet.
