I still think I'd be quite happy with a 62mm setup on one of those.

The ride I took in a Local Supra running a 74mm Comp turbo felt like it spooled pretty damn quick, was Triple Ceramic Ball Bearing though, but it sure didn't feel like a 74mm during spool up.

Bigger motors allow for bigger turbos without lag. A 4294 spools on a 3.0l supra like a 20g does for us, from charts I've seen. Imagine what they'd spool like on a 3.8l stroker.

A 3.8 Stroker? 2JZ's can be stroked to a 3.4? This was a 7MGTE though, it still spooled faster than a 74mm should have.

Yes, a 3.8l stroker. And there's a few guys out there doing it.

Brandon, I just wanted to reassure you. I know you are lost with all that turbo vs. displacement crap. ;)

A little Civic hatch that was brought up from California last week for some tuning and racing. It went 9.9@149.9 at BIR as was kicked out.
