I have pictures of the bike in my garage but since my garage is a freaking discusting.
Jenny wanted me to wait till we take pictures of her with the bike in a better location. I'm thinking we'll wait till her helmet and Gloves come in (probably friday) then we'll do the 2nd round of pictures. -brian |
Awesome!!! I just love the blue color. A coworker of mine as and R1 in that blue (or similiar). When he bought it someone had installed blue neons under it with a switch. That's pretty F&F, but looks damn good. :D

Nice to hear that Jenny got what she always wanted. Where did you guys buy it from?

My buddy at work bought a 2003 R6 last year and he has done some mild appearance mods that I think are pretty tasteful. Mainly he painted his lower fairing black. He also recently installed a 520 chain with a 15/48 sproket kit for quicker acceleration and some led kit that converts the tail light integrator from VFX. Nice fuckin bike!
Wise choice, and yes be careful as you will have your hands full with idiot drivers. ;) |

damn just got the call from Allstate they won't insure the bike as it's a croch Rocket.
I think I should cancel my car insurance and go with whom ever insure the bike just because I think it's BS. as well as if I have seperate company's I don't get the discount of having there Auto insurance. Any idea of who I should go through to get my insurance? Piss's me off cause they quoted me $36 a month for full coverage too. -Brian |
Call up Tousley Motorsports and ask them who they recommend for bike insurance. When I was up there a couple years ago contemplating a new sled or bike I talked to a guy there who said he could get almost anyone insured for a fair rate.

so.. like, is that thing fast?
36 bucks a month? that's cheap as crap. my conquest is 200 a month for full coverage. also: i like the sandals, i hope she puts on some shoes before riding around. |
$36 for a bike is expensive especially if its under your name, Brian. If its under hers then it will be more. As she is younger.

It's her bike, but I've had oportunities to ride my friends bikes but since I don't have my license I couldn't go outside my neighborhood. Plus I want to support / be apart of Jenny's pations/hobby's.
So that's why I'm signing up for the Class's with her. It's an added bonus when your loved one supports your hobby's. And I do plan on getting a bike as some point. But it's all about the steps. First things first. I have to get my car fixed then I can check into bikes. As for the sandals. Ya. I just wanted to take some pictures quickly so she just put it outside. I was trying to get her to take some picts with her bike Jacket unzipped with nothing on under it. But she didn't go for it. Sorry guys. -brian |
My buddy with the R6 pictured above pays $26 a month with State Farm.
|
How old is he and what's his record like? and how much is covered?
I want to get some ammo to use against the insurance company |

This is a forum that my co-worker recommended, he has an R1. He also said there are some fender protectors you can buy for like $50/ea, but it save a little bit if the bike gets laid down. Not sure if this is helpful or not, but just thought I'd post it up. :) |
is the insurance that cheap for bikes all over the states? and around how much are the classes for the license? that'd be awesome!!! :bounce:
