It wasn't pump gas. It was just knocking so we had to pull a lot of timing out to get it not knock. With normal timing we couldn't run more than 22lbs of boost. More boost equals more power generally so we just took the timing out and added more boost and made the most power with the fuel that it was pushing at the time which wasn't much.

Now that I have a new engine I can see that the tranny took quite a bit of abuse from the crankwalked engine.

It was race gas, as the 27 lbs of boost would lead you to believe.

I made up the half second before the 60' line! I wanted to make sure the RPM were decent to launch with. I shoulda let him get to the 330' mark so it looked cool as hell when I went by him at the 1000' mark going 50 mph faster :D
