My Fiero was totaled last Thursday. I was rearended by a 626 that was hit by a Durango. The car is fucked.

My uncle passed away Saturday night at my Mom's house. He let us know Saturday morning that he wouldn't make it through the day. It was nice that my entire extended family was able to make it to my Mom's house for the day. Funeral is this Thursday. He was suffering a lot from the pancreatic cancer, he will be missed but we are glad he is now at peace.

This must be the worst week ever. I'm very sorry to hear about your losses.
How much hope is there for the Fiero? Was it insured?

That really sucks man, both about your uncle and your car :( Hopefully it was fully insured. Bad news loves piling up it seems. My S2000 got towed out in Madison this weekend and sustained some pretty heavy damages thanks to a careless tow-truck operator.

Shit man, I'm sorry to hear about your week. That must have been a pretty decent hit for the 626 to total your car after being hit by the durango.
Hope things start looking up for you man.

I saw you parked at great clips right after it happened, i would have stopped to help but i was already late for work. I'm sorry for both of your losses.

Thanks guys, sorry about the woe is me post but after this weekend and a few insurance calls it hit me at once.

The car was appraised at over $8500 bedore the hit the damage looks to be around ~$4000. Car will be fixed or totalled. I'm fine, I didn't get hurt too bad in the accident, just minor back pains and spasms.

My Uncle went the way he wanted, at home, in bed, surrounded by family members. My Grandma is having a real hardtime, so is my Mom. I am glad I was able to spend a lot of time with my Uncle over the past few months, he was a very proud and storng man, he will be missed.

If there is a bright side its that my Uncle is at peace and no longer battling a terrible cancer. I will receive the value of my car, which I was trying to sell, or it will be fixed with a new paint job.

Things will work out. We are ready to put an offer down on a house and Melissa and I are getting married in less than three weeks! :D

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, but it sounds like he will be in a better place now. I'm also sorry to hear about the accident, but like you said, at least you were able to walk away from it with minimal injuries.
