Ball joint replacing?

I need to replace the front pass side lower ball joint. My friend said I had to replace the whole control arm, or can i just replace the ball joint itself??

You can just replace the ball joint, it needs to be pushed out though and the new one pushed back in. So someplace like Red Rooster can probably do it. I had all of mine done this way.
