What's complaining going to get ya? A bad day at the track is a bad day at the track.
At least going out after was fun. It's hard to argue with $2.25 Captain Cokes.

Just out of curiosity, how come no one ever goes to Tri-State anymore? It's not that much further than Cedar Falls and is where AJ pulled his T25 times so there must be something good there. ;)
Tri-State is a nice-enough place. However, on the 17th it was closed. I think that Cedar Falls was taking on both loads of dragsters.

That place was a joke, the track was prepped good, but they didn't give a flying fuck about the street cars. The only way you could get runs in is if you were on slicks. They let the slick lanes got 3 times to 1 over the street car lanes. It was a nice day out though and there were some fast cars there. I had fun watching, if I was racing though it would have been frustrating.
The reason they do that is because the street tire cars scrape the VHT off of the track. The track managers don't like to spend money on VHT if they don't have to. If they keep you off the track with street tires, they are saving money and time in their eyes.
They wont have to worry about that for long. I heard a lot of bitching, and I think a lot of those people wont be back.

If you're doing a big burnout with street tires, you should be kicked off the track anyways. I don't think that was much of a problem there except for the white boy with the goofy-ass Civic 4-door running 17's. I'm surprised he didn't get linched, there was some serious rednecks down there.
