the diesel turbos make more cfm generaly and they spin just as fast as gasoline turbos..
you should hear the poor turbo in my truck :(
Diesel turbos don't see the kinds of heat in the exhaust side that a gasoline engine puts into them though.

Thanks for ALL the good info guys........
Looking into a couple different leads on some turbos now.
Hope to back on the street in another week or so, with anything from rebuilt Big 16 to a 18G, to a 20G to a V Trim.....:->
Howie, beat yourself over the head for even mentioning the V-trim on this forum!
Yes, but they also have oil preasure while under that load. Would you crank your engine over without any oil in the crankcase?
No but I will turn it over by hand without any oil pressure like I would with a turbo.

No doubt, I got gang raped right on this board cause of that damm thing, and a few other "misunderstandings".......
But........That's all behind us now.....right?
Back then I didn't have Injectors, a FP, a FMIC or DSMLINK.
Now I know I wasn't ready then, but I might be now?

If the turbo you're looking at comes from Bullseye Power, GRE Performance, The Speed Factor, or any other place that sells products from Bullseye, run far, far away.
