Yeah, full size men can land much harder blows to the lion. But, I dont think midgets would be able to disable the lion long enough not to be destroyed.

It would entirely depend on the guys put in the ring with the lion. If you put 40 average guys in there, the lion would easily win since the average person waits for someone else to solve their problems for them. They would stay out of the "main action" hoping the others would kill the lion before they would need to get involved. Of course the lion would already be dividing the group and killing them off as quickly as possible. The only chance the 40 humans would win is if they all had confidence in that fact and worked as a team to pin the lion down to where it couldn't fight back and kill it likely by crushing it's windpipe etc. It is one of those things, could go either way, but 8 out of 10 times, I would favor the lion to win.

even tho you do have 40 people there, you can only fit so many hands on a small area, and if you want to apply force on it even less hands.

Nature designed a lion very well, small limbs and very powerfull jaws along with sharp claws on the limbs, a neck that no way anyone would be able to pull and hold on to as long as Lions mouth was not full.

Your best way to subdue a lion bare handed would be to stuff something into his mouth so that he can't bite back, be it shoes into the shirt and wrapped and tied into a bundle and then successfully acomplishing the task of stuffing it into his mouth and keeping it there! Especially since lions favorite possition is on his back when he is fighting and that is to protect his back and keep the sharp claws towards his enemy.


even at 40 grown men, it will be a really really huge challenge, and a task that would not be attainable without sacrificing lives = not worth the attempt.

Midgets dont have enough leverage with their limbs. They would have to swarm it and then bite it to death (which wouldnt work). A group of full size men could kick in the ribs until it submits.

I don't know... Humans aren't exactly fast, nor strong when compared to a lion. I'd imagine that a lion could swat a single 200 pound man quite a few feet.
