Looks like most of the list is pretty accurate but i would have put A LOT more Ac/dc in there.
I have to strongly agree. 80's pop rock, yuck. All those mullets and hairbands.

you know, even though half of you aren't going to agree with me, Creed - Higher, and Limp Bizkit - My Way, are two songs that shouldn't be on there for sure. i know i know, Creed? if you listen to there music you'll learn to appreciate the guitarist, he's fu**in amazing!

The guitarist is good. That's about it. Scott Stap or whatever his last name is, should not be "singing".

true, that's why i'm into the new creed - without scott stap, you know - Alter Bridge, lead singer being Miles Kennedy, saw them live, that band is truly going to be something special once they get out a few more albums. amazing band guitar player and singer

Eh........ still not an AlterBridge fan at all. Vocals and style are still too similar to Creed.

I'm guessing the VH1 crew that came up with that list has an age average around 25. Those who were actually around for that era would appreciate most of those tunes. That Danzig song sucks the hair off a donkey's nuts though.

Everybody wants to concentrate on hair and clothes. It was about the music you dumbasses. Those of you who think like that are the ones that fell for that corporate brainwashing. There were many great bands that were very successfull before and without MTV. Pink Floyd, Metallica (oh my God, they were an '80s band too), Journey, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Rush, Triumph, Frank Zappa, Bad Company, Queensryche, Dokken, UFO, etc, etc, etc.
I don't worship Creed, but they were a good band. They are like the Spice Girls, nobody ever admits to liking them, but they somehow sold millions of cd's, go figure.

That's true, it was about the music... and I still dislike the music produced by those bands you listed. They also just happen to be hair bands also ;) . It's ok, I am only 10 years old. All I listen to is Ashlee Simpson and Jennifer Lopez. :)
No, yer just nutty. Nobody said you had good taste Cher :D
