Yes, it had 1 locking hex head set screw. I will write down what it says at lunch maybe even take a picture of it. I could almost swear it says in white lettering Eibach 22/99 but i will double check.

Thanks.

Alright, call GC and tell them that and possibly order new springs.

Thanks i will post what they say...

PS- I went out on ebay and found some GC coilovers and they look identical to what i have. Thanks for steering me in the right direction.

Ok, just got back from lunch. Yes, there were more number on the coils. They are 0700-250-0400. 0700 is the length, 250 is the inside dia. -0400 is the spring rate. I called GC and they recommended to go with a 0600-250-0450 for the back. The rates, etc.. were pretty similar.

The springs are $59each. But i'm sure i will have to get it realigned after all this, correct?? That will be the disadvantage of the desired look.

Everytime you adjust your ride-height the car *should* be aligned for proper drivability and handling. Purchase a lifetime alignment from Firestone or whoever you prefer, I generally would get my car aligned twice a year.

I just placed an order for the 0600-250-0450. That should drop it up to an inch. I will get it aligned. On my old GST i had purchased the Specialty Products camber kit. Decent. I actually used a carpenters level and placed it on the wheel and got the alignment close. Went i took it in, they hardly had to adjust anything. Cool huh? Do you recommend or have experience with any other kits? RRE sells some i know.

I never used anything when I dropped my car 3", 1G FWD's are cool like that (although I did have a lot of toe in the rear, but not so much where it became a problem). I'm not sure how the 2G GSX's react to being lowered, but I know those 2G FWD's get a ton of camber. You also might want to cut your bumpstops in half to help prevent bouncing around a hard corner, leave some on there though to avoid destroying your shock.
