I think the 2g coil pack mount is different than a 1g, so that's another thing you have to do.
The 2g coil won't bolt onto the 1g intake manifold. You would either need to use a 1g coil or you can just mount the coil somewhere else. That is not a big deal though.
You can use a 1g intake manifold on a 2g or 1g head. If you have a 1g head, it will flow a little better but either will work for the 1g intake mainfold. I don't think you should worry about porting the intake manifold since it won't make much of a difference. I didn't bother with mine.
BTW, BKs50trimGST, I want to race you in my gst when both cars are running. You talked to my brother a few days ago about your turbo. I have the black awd talon that raced you last year.

and i remember, i got smoked and so did my buddies srt-4, btw - my car won't be as fast as your awd but it will be interesting to see against your gst, off the line and on the roll. just gimme a week or two to get my skills in driving back - havent driven this car hard in about 6 months - my car will be done on friday! ordered my 50 trim from elite auto sports - AWEsome place also - charged me 950 for the 50trim brand new internally gated with the stage 3 wheel and didn't have the stupid thing hoaged out like my other one did - so now my o2 housing i can use - my dumptube will be of use - amazing! and i had it shipped overnight to shindley. major props to elite!

I got the gst on the 3rd of Jan, drove it for a month and it hasn't been running since besides 1 pull with the 20g. My car should be running soon. Few little things to work out before starting.

Come on Jakey, there is no need for this. Most of us on this board street race, it can't and won't ever be stopped. I suppose this is just a fact of life you'll have to come to accept. You can't tell me that you'll never go WOT on the streets with your Laser once you start driving it.

It is easy. If you are putting the 1g 7 bolt head on, you would want to get arp's, a new hg and timing parts. I wasn't sure if you are putting it on though.

You might not even have to dick with the Map sensor either. When you get like a aftermarket SMIM, some people i understand have it connected to the wire but just dangling or zip tied someone and not even attached to the manifold.
