I work at menards. But if you are still in high school you get paid only like 6.50 or something like that. But all in all Menards sucks- Wait, wait a minute dont pretty much all jobs.

Menards does suck. Yes the pay was good. I made $11.25 to drive forklift around all day. Hours suck. Some days you will work 5hrs, some days you will work 11hrs and when you want days off, good luck. You have to work alteast 1 weekend a month whether your full time or part time. Bull shit I say, Bull shit! I hate Menards.

College doesn't guarantee you into a job that you will like, but it might give you more opportunities. I guess I've yet to find something I'd love to do for the rest of my life, but my choices are slimming down to the ones I really love.
As for getting a job, even if the pay isn't that great, just get something temporary where you won't hate going to work everyday. Going to a job you hate is the worse thing you can do even if pay is great. Do you have some friends that work somewhere? Working with friends or people you like is always a plus.

Correct, but it should at least be able to get you in a field you are interested in.

Job satisfaction and happiness is more important than pay. But in high school, you're a long ways from either one, so best of luck. :D

Check at dealerships, they always seem to be hiring for something fom lot help, detailing, cashiers, and other positions. If you go to the right ones you will start at up to 11 an hour.
