Well the car is down. I sold all my old set-up (turbo, manifold, wastegate, O2 housing & downpipe). My new parts are being built at this time. Should have them in a few weeks.

Mo powa, mo powa, mo powa. :D

If everything works out correctly, should be hitting 600+ awd whp. Quite a nice step up from the estimated 450+ awd whp I was hitting before.

This should put me right where I want to be. It should be really fun to drive (not that it wasn't already). I could have went with a bigger turbo for more power, and lost some of the driving pleasure. But this has always been my goal, at least for now anyways. A super nice, full weight, well into the 10 sec zone, 2g GSX street car with lots of torque.

Who knows, maybe one day I'll want to insert "well into the 9 sec zone" in that last sentence. ;)

Remove some weight so its a "A super nice, lighter weight, well into the 10 sec zone, 2g GSX street car with lots of torque."

Yeah, weight is a problem. Not much can be done without taking away from the "super nice" part of the car. I am exploring some options to help it, but nothing in the immediate future.

Bumper supports and small battery.

2g's don't have the heavy bumper supports like 1g's. I've already got the small battery to clear my UICP at the throttle body.

Who did you end up ordering your GT35R through, PTE or FP? Which tubular manifold did you end up deciding on?

-Definitely time for a carbon fiber hood and driveshaft. :D

-Definitely time for a carbon fiber hood and driveshaft. :DDidn't get the GT35R  . Got something a little bigger. Had something custom spec'ed for my set-up through Innovative Turbo with help from Scott @ VPE. No, I can't say what it is yet. It's a secret ;) . If it works as well as we feel it will, Scott will start marketing the turbo through his site. It will flow 70+ lb/min and should hit full boost by 4400-4500 rpm. VPE is starting to build tubular manifolds for DSM's. I've had a long time working relationship with Scott. Scott called me up in the middle of me lining up my parts and told me about his new connection with Innovative Turbo. He basically made me an offer that was too good to pass up on the complete package (manifold, turbo, wastegate, O2 housing, down pipe, etc.). As far as the manifold goes, if I don't like it, or it doesn't work well, Scott said he would take it back, with no problems.

1Vicisous- Where are you planning on racing your car at?Anywhere that will let me :p . I have been thinking about making the trip to the DSM Shoot-out, but David Buschur posted "Only 4g63 powered vehicles will be allowed to race." I haven't gotten clarification if a 4g64 will be allowed.

Yeah, 4G64 is no problem. I hope to see you there!
