You should come up to AMS' Midwest Mayhem or the Midwest meet @ Tri-State Raceway this Fall.

So what is your new wastegate configuration going to look like? Gate on the manifold or on the o2 housing kind of like your old one? Just curious cause I am in love with the FP housing but I want something bigger than a 3065 and BB unlike the 3575. If I can find a wastegate setup that I really like it will open up my options a little more.

Anything bigger than a 3065 starts maxing out every other parts on the car that you normally don't have to worry about.

well right now I have Mike building me a 2.4 and i don't plan on having any bottlenecks in my car. When the car gets its first start-up it will have a ported head, crower 414s, magnus manifold ect. to make sure there will be enough room for the engine to breate. So hopefully i will have all the other parts covered and i won't have to worry about them. I do see where your coming from though.

Are you still planning on running 3" exhaust or upgrading to 3.5"? Are you going to run external, internal, or "swap-able" gate like what FP has available? Does your Magnus intake manny seem to be holding up fine? Sticking with the 272s or upgrading to the FP4s? I still think you should call up PST and have them build you a carbon fiber driveshaft. :D

Those are the normal parts that you upgrade with any turbo. I am talking about stuff like needing multiple fuel pumps or a big external pump that burns out if you drive on it for too long, upgrading the fuel lines starting from the pump onward, a clutch that can hold the power, a 2600 isn't going to cut it, axles, backup trannies and transfercases, a 3.5" exhaust, 3" intercooler piping, a huge FMIC, motor mounts, external oil cooler, 900cc+ injectors, bigger throttlebody, something decent to tune the car with, etc. Most people don't make full use of the potential of 61mm turbos like the FP3065. Going to a turbo like the FP3575 that flows 10 lbs/min more and is a fair amount laggier isn't the best route. FP has made FP3565s, which would have a bit more power potential than a 3065. How much power are you trying to make?

I have taken into account all of those other factors but i just didn't mention them. I am planning on running 1000cc injectors, dsmlink, my tranny is going to go to shep at some point,SBR front mount, clutch wise Mike said a suthbend would work and I was planning on having a full stainless fuel system tank to regulator and possibly even the return line. I understand that its a laggy turbo and that it is made for big power I was hoping to be somewhere in the 6-675hp range with spool in the mid 4K range or a little higher. I know the 3065 can make that number but I am afraid of getting way to close to its max effeciency. I figured if I go with something like the 3575 I would still have room to improve later on should I decide to. I don't want you to think that I am one of those people that thinks he can just throw a turbo on the car and it'll be fast I have been doing my research over the last 4-5 months as to what all is going to be going into this car and thats another reason why it won't be running until next year. I won't have the money for everything that is needed and I know that its going to be a lot to maintain but im okay with that.

Magnus SMIM working fine. 272's are working fine, if bigger is needed, maybe a swap down the road. I should be at my "Goal" for the car with my new set-up. Anything above or beyond that would be "Gravy". As Shane mentioned, the power levels I'm moving up to will take their tole on the rest of the car and cross over into the "It could start breaking parts" area. I'm easy on my launches, so hopefully there won't be any problems for me. I have spent my money in the right places on the car to help with durability. Some form of weight reduction will hopefully come about, don't know how much though. Can you get me a price on the CF driveshaft?

Yeah I need to call PST anyways so I'll ask them next time I speak with them, probably early next week.
