[QUOTE=Swifty1638]Oh, and what about the o2 sensor?

Leave the 02 in its place. Than take your car across the street ( KIA), so I can put in the probe. Tell Weber sorry but your not interested in the header. The 2g manifold on the car now,is it ported?

Not to mention they use thin gauge steel, and honestly....unless it is equal-length....it's not worth the money anyway. Tubular manifolds do flow a little better usually but come at the cost of reliability. Most 'headers' will crack over time, warp very easily, dissipate too rapidly which is why most of them are coated or wrapped to be worth a damn. Most DSM tubular manifolds also run around $400 and up. So there is a reason why it is so cheap.

Buschur's Conquest runs 8.7x with a 2g manifold, btw.

No for a 1g 2.0L NT, the pacesetter header has usually been a good buy considering there never was a better manifold made from the factory and they are all cracked. And for $100 or less, if it lasts a couple years....you got your money's worth.

hey kor! u guys got a welder? i think i will definatly take u up on that offer...got any ideas on how i can hook up this fuel psi gauge? I was gonna hook it up to the rail, but I think that the threading thing won't fit..I am not sure..

Ya we have a welder, Do you need a place for the sender, for the fuel presser gauge? We could take your banjo bolt on top of your fuel filter, drill and tap it for the sensor.

Yea, I am thinking I need that too, cause I won't be able to find a place for the fuel psi gauge to tap off of. Also, how hard is it to weld a bunge into a cast iron manifold? I am assuming you will want me to take the mani off, so when you drill it out, the shavings are removed...

There should be an adapter in the EGT package that screws into the manifold. There shouldn't be any welding involved. Also, to drill the hole just take out all the turbo bolts, then put some flat metal over the turbo inlet, and start the car. Then drill out your hole and you are set, you don't need to take off the manifold.

really now? I guess I gotta wait till I get my egt gauge then. I gotta try and figure out the fuel psi thingy too. Korey, I am bringin' the gauge to work tomorrow, so feel free to drop by next door when you get a break over there..I know how busy you guys get..about as much as us! lol I work 7-3..

I have read people doing it that way. I would never weld bunge on the manifold.

ok. If I get this gauge hopefully this week, are you able to take care of it this weekend? I have off, so it would be helpful..of course, The gauge must arrive first.
