Ehh, I picked up some FP cam 2's. Pretty much the same as Comp 200's. Just with different indexing. I went with them because I can get them new for about the price of a used set of 272's. There have been dyno's posted of cars making MORE power than 272's. Cher seems to be the only person to ever have a problem with them. And you can't expect to be the fastest if all you do is follow the leader.

A number of things swayed me to go with the bigger cams. The main one being you guys, you made me really take a second look at what I was talking about. While the bigger cams may lose some torque compared to smaller upgraded cams, you still make more than stock cams.

Do you want to continue this discussion anymore or do you want your thread locked?

People can add comments if they want. I don't see a need to lock it unless people start calling me an idiot for not buying HKS.

You idiot! You didn't buy HKS??

J/K man! Good choice on the FP's. I have heard only good things about them. I am sure they will treat you good.

mustgofaster, maybe when you get them installed, you can tell us your impressions, or at least me, cause i'm looking at getting a set of either fp1's or fp2's also, but i can't make up my mind (planning on maybe trying autox, but i would still like to kick butt on the 1/4 track). i also have about the same setup, evo 16g, and i plan on sticking with the hrc big sidemount, and maybe sometime you can tell me where or how you got them so cheap?? or did you just buy them from fp since they are allready good priced. thanks

Dustin

I'm still on the 14B for now, till it dies. When I get them installed there will be a few other new mods too, so as far as the "butt dyno" in concerned it will be skewed. Also due to the fact that I have been driving a slow car all winter. I will the degreeing them. I will post up what I think.

Also I wouldn't say so cheap, but a bit cheaper than FP's web site. Ebay, FP has them on there.
