standing still and about to launch, the car moves forward when i try to launch at 4500 is this normal? (i am holding the cltuch all the way down) something wrong with my clutch engagement?

You need to adjust your clutch pedal.

Try this,
Check your clutch rod and pedal adjustments
Bleed your clutch hydraulic system
If that doesn't do it, you may have to look at the clutch assembly itself.

i searched alrdy, i forgot where that article about how much free play a clutch pedel should have anyone know? 2g Awd
also i know the rear adjustment the one by turning the rod = changing where the clutch engages but what does the other one do? the upper one.

Do some stretching excersices and crawl under the dash (on your back). Look to the top and you will see a rod that threads into the top of the pedal asembly. Take a 12mm wrench (I believe) and loosen the jam nut. Take a pliers or vice grip and turn the rod until it is almost all the way out of the pedal. Tighten the jam nut and test the car.
Are you sure you are not on any hill? Also you can try bleeding the clutch. Vfaq shows the clutch pedal adjustment along with teamrip.com. Have fun.

What are you referring to as the "rear adjustment"? The last time I checked, everything was in the front of the car. The adjustment I am talking about is under the dash.
A 2600 will limit your free play. Mine has to be dam near touching the firewall before it is disengaged. That is what you get when you upgrade clutches.

There is only one that I have adjusted. It is at the top of the pedal and the rod runs through the pedal and into a boot that you see. If you look under the hood you will see where it comes out at the fluid resivior (cannot actually see the rod but it will give you an idea on where to look under the dash. Vfaq has a diagram alone with teamrip.com. That is the only adjustment I know about. QPR has longer clutch rods which may help. I got one but I dont believe I have it in my car anymore. It is supposed to move the clutch pedal furthur off the floor.

Stainless braided clutch hoses/lines, billet clutch fork, longer slave rods, modifying the master cylinder, shimming the pivot ball......The 2600 has plagued DSMers since it's intro. I would try adjusting it some more, invest in some stainless lines (allows you to eliminate the FPR), then either purchase longer slave rod or you can try shimming the rod temp. to see if that fixes your problem.
