Dude its the tow trucks operators fault. My buddys a driver and hes told me that theres a little saying in the towing business, "you break it, you buy it."

Now go buy a wheel-barrow (sp?) to carry all those sacks of cash.

Probably about 3 years ago, in my Ferraro, I was driving out to Melrose on 94. So the car suddenly just lost power. Damn, turns out it was the ignition coil. Soooo, I call the nearest towing company to get it back to my house in St.Cloud. This YAHOO from Freeport, a hick town, came out with the tow truck. First of all, he pulls in front of the car, I let him start to get out and ready to hook it, I was like, ummmm, it's rear wheel drive man. I don't think he even had the slightest idea the engine was in the rear of the car! So then he pulls aroung and gets the wheel dollies around the rear wheels, the bar that holds them in was like 1" from the underside of my bumper. That car was lowered, some of you guys have seen it rides pretty low. I told him that it was going to move around on the ride back and hit the bumper. He proceeded with the "it will be fine" attitude. So we get back to my house after a BORINGGGGG ride back with this dude, and the first thing I do is check the bumper. Sure enough the paint was cracked and coming off from the clamps hitting it. I told him, submitted the damage estimate from the painter to the towing company, and recieved a check for about $375 for the damage! :) Hehehe, the guy was later fired, apparantly this wasn't the first time he messed up someones ride. Duhhhhh.
