Its a rediculous world we live in these days. Can't say I blame them though, if I had a chance to file a lawsuit against a large company, I probably would.

That 1072 lb man is from Minnesota, and has been in the headlines for months. Welcome to society! ;)

I thought he's from Nebraska? Anyways, people will sue for about anything, obviouslly. Personally I think that all the lawsuits again tobacco companies, pharmaceutical companies, medical malpractice, and fast food chains are ludacris. Unless someone can prove that a company/someone was marketing a product which does harm a human but hiding it, I honestly do not see a basis for a lawsuit. Then again the courts see otherwise. I think I'll go smoke a cigarette, pretend I don't know it harms me, and then sue RJ Reynolds or Phillip Morris, what a damn joke. People wonder why health insurance rates have skyrocketed, look at stupid f*cks like John Edwards who made millions off ridiculous lawsuits this like this.

That's what the documentary Super Size Me was about, and why it started. The first lawsuits against McDonald's for this exact reason were thrown out of court because they could not prove McDonald's intentionally made them fat. Gee, I wonder why they couldn't prove it....

I want to say a McDonalds got sued for spilling a hot cup of coffee on someone to. Hasnt there been lawsuits for that to, because the coffee was to hot?

Yep, which is why McDonald's coffee cups now have a big warning on them about the coffee being hot.

I hope it gets thrown out again...as it should be. It's just ridiculous what some people will do to make excuses as to why their fat. Like the half ton man, I wonder why he's fat, maybe because he lays in bed and does nothing and eats 10 meals a day. Just plain stupid

Man, thats so true man. Why doesnt McDonald's compare their health related issues with smoking? Maybe I should start smoking (im 16), eat and get obese and get on news for sewing the Tobacco Industry and "Fast Food" resturants...hmmmm, sounds like a good idea.
