i am having a problem with my 90 eagle talon awd, i just recntly bought a jdm engine tranny and we have everything in and it starts but my clutch wont disengage. We have already changed the master and slave cylinders and we have swaped out the pedal assembly and it still does the same thing. I cant get it into gear! does anyone have any suggestions? let me know please.

Did you actually swap the engine, or just the tranny? Did you change the disk, pressure plate, or flywheel? Did you bleed it properly?
If your flywheel is not machined properly, your clutch won't fully disengage, and it won't get into gear. So, more details, please.

If you tried everything then I suggest the pivot ball and the fork... they could be worn out a bit. Also why did you just swap to another assembly and didnt bother to weld up the one you had?

If the flywheel step is right, odds are the fulkrum is worn and needs to be shimmed/replaced and the clutch fork is probably bent and needs to be replaced.

If the engine is a 91-94 style, which it probably is if it's from a JDM galant, and you have a 90 you will have to change the linkage to get it to work right...not sure on the exact procedure though, we did it on my friends galant to get a 90 tranny to work.
I think you lengthen or shorten it a little, or you could swap the entire shifter assembly and cables to a 91 style.
somebody here should know for sure.

ok heres the deal. We took the pedal assembly out and welded the shit out of it. there is no play at all. We put the assembly back in and bled the shit out of the system. still having the problem. It wont go into gear and when you try it just rolls. so far i have replaced slave cylinder master cylindar clutch pedal assembly nothing has solved my problem. i thought it might be the folcrum ball or the fork but it did the same thing in my old tranny. (headache) if someone could help me out let me know you could even call me 507 269 2157 i live in rochester
