I am pushing 100PSI through the compressor to build the pressure quicker. It still doesn't build any pressure on the boost gauge. Wastegate problem?

If your not building any pressure than there is a mojor leak somewhere. Either in the IC lines, where the turbo connects tothe lower IC pipe, or TB, or IM gaskets. The wasgate shouldnt have to do with anything uless your boosting and either cant control boost or something like that.

If the turbo has cracks in the exhaust housing, it could be losing it there. The wastegate wouldn't seal. It seems to go straight out when I put it in. Cant evenfind a leak.

I drove the car around a bit tonight. The boost gauge pretty much reads 0 at idle. The boost gauge works fine. The turbo (14b) spools by ~2900rpm and holds a constant 8-9psi until redline. I have been told my boost leak could be the turbo. The turbo boosts fine so that is not hte problem right? I cannot hear any leaks on a boost leak test as the air is rushing out too quick. Any idea what it could be? I replaced all vaccum lines and the ic piping was made by me. The IC came off James' car and worked fine. The wastegate is not stuck open.

In that TB thread i made didn/'t you say that both your gaskets looked the same? did you ever fix that?
