I can't remember if I gave that header away or not? I know i was going to through it out anyways. Just can't remember if someone picked it up first or not? I haven't seen it lately.
Brian you gave it to me when I was up there. Then Jacek said he wanted to try to weld it so I gave it to him when I was in Decorah one weekend. Then I take it he gave it to Jed. So it's been from Archer to Burnsville to Ames to Decorah to Winona. :bounce:

Like Enes said...crankwalked
For sure? That sucks! I have a 7-bolt 4G64 as well. :(
I'll probably feel your pain soon. :headache:
Damn, that sucks Chris. Sorry!! I have felt your pain, but at least I got 11k miles out of mine before it was really done. Crazy how mine did it coming back from the SO too. The SO must be bad luck for crankwalk!
sounds like it did crankwalk, but has anyone checked it to be sure yet?

The crank pulley moves in and out about 1/4 inch maybe more maybe less, but it is definately moving farther than it should. I am taking it out soon to be sure, and Mike has some ideas that we are tossing around as to how to remedy the problem...I will keep you guys updated.
Chris

Mike wants to try some H rated bearings which are much stronger and made of better material... We won't know anything until we get in there and see what caused the problem...
