So today my wife's childhood dream of owning a jeep came true.

Drove 4hrs to georgia to pick it up. And I have to admit she let me drive it home as it was dark and she didn't feel comfortable driving it at night yet. And I can say I'm a little jelious of her right now.

2008 jeep wrangler unlimited sahara 4x4 - auto
Red rock crystal pearl coat exterior
Dark slate grey interior

It has:
Navigation/DVD
All power options
3pc freedom hardtop
4" procomp lift
20x10" 5on5 Fuel kranks rims - D51720005745
35x12.5 R20 Milestar Pategonia MT tires - 557010742
Eagle eye front grill
Mopar hood cover kit
146,000 miles (florida car)

I'm 6' 4" and even I have a hard time getting up/into and out of this thing, it's really high up.

And I kid you not you could eat off the underside and engine bay. If I had to guess based on the area of where we picked it up and the houses around it. It previous owner has millions. I was not expecting to see the ridiculous houses that we did all around this dealership. And most I swear would have to be 2nd homes as it's in the middle of the blue Ridge Mountains and on a lake.

I fell in love with the area and would love to move there for retirement.

Anyrate onto the photos - we took them quick while we were at subway on the way home as we were trying to beat a major thunderstorm that was rolling in. Originally we had plans to take it to one of the local parks up in the mountains or clemson university as my wife went there and do a photoshoot but got rained out.

Also that's my 2016 Honda Odyssey next to it with now 11,000 miles. The jeep is probably like 6" to a foot higher then the roof of the van lol

I already have a mod list going in my head.

First thing is going to be the uconnect - blue tooth adaptee for the nav unit. For $35 for the kit I don't know why they didn't just include it. And make the cars safer to drive with the handsfree.

Wish list:
Best top trektop
Full size spare
proper spare tire mount - J101338
Upgraded headlights - 12/17
Upgraded front bumper with winch
Mygig - with backup camera - 4/8/17
Uconnect bluetooth - 4/1/17
Maybe a light bar or similar
Diver down seat covers tan/black - 7/23/18

Nice looking Jeep. Get the fastback top and make it look like a military hummer!

Also if anyone missed the news. God was watching over my wife and I yesterday

We were about 40 miles north of Atlanta where the fire broke out on i85. And we were going to head to Atlanta for lunch but ran late and wanted to avoid the storm coming in so we headed north on i85.

This happened 30min after we left. Which would have put us right at this area when the fire started.

Wow! Obviously glad you were ok and not on that road!

Regarding the Jeep, very badass, that thing looks great, especially for that mileage. The fact your wife has this you have a minivan is a bit concerning though... I won't even ask who takes bottom ;)

I rented a Wrangler in Cozumel and drove it off-road and it was a blast, I'm sure you guys will have a ton of fun with it!
