I copied this from another post, so it's not my writing.

Useful Idiots? ...

Please, take a moment and read this to the end. You will note that the current administration is on target on all 8 levels of control. If you agree, pass this on. We can only do something about it, if we fully realize what is happening.

Subject: Are You A Useful Idiot?

Saul Alinsky died about 43 years ago, but his writings influenced those in political control of our nation today.......
Recall that Hillary did her college thesis on his writings, and Obama writes about him in his books.
Died: June 12, 1972, Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA
Education: University of Chicago
Spouse: Irene Alinsky
Books: Rules for Radicals, Reveille for Radicals

Anyone out there think that this stuff isn't happening today in the U.S. ?

How to create a social state by Saul Alinsky:
Eight levels of control must be obtained before you can create a social state.

The first is the most important:
1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people.
2) Poverty - Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
3) Debt - Increase debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control - Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)
6) Education - Take control of what people read and listen to and take control of what children learn in school.
7) Religion - Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.
8) Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent, and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Does any of this sound like what is happening to the United States?
Alinsky merely simplified Vladimir Lenin's original scheme for world conquest by communism, under Russian rule. Stalin described his converts as "Useful Idiots"; (Sounds like something we have just been hearing lately regarding how Obamacare was passed).

The Useful Idiots have destroyed every nation in which they have seized power and control. It is presently happening at an alarming rate in the U.S.

If people can read this and still say everything is just fine, they are useful idiots.

This was his opinion on the afterlife. Sounds like a stand up guy.

"Alinsky died at the age of 63 of a sudden, massive heart attack in 1972, on a street corner in Carmel, California. Two months previously, he had discussed life after death in his interview with Playboy:[4]

ALINSKY: ... if there is an afterlife, and I have anything to say about it, I will unreservedly choose to go to hell.
PLAYBOY: Why?
ALINSKY: Hell would be heaven for me. All my life I've been with the have-nots. Over here, if you're a have-not, you're short of dough. If you're a have-not in hell, you're short of virtue. Once I get into hell, I'll start organizing the have-nots over there.
PLAYBOY: Why them?
ALINSKY: They're my kind of people."

So he was an atheist, no surprise there.

Not sure what that has to do with the OP. Looks to me like 1-8 is currently happening.

It has everything to do with the OP. He tells who he is in that short clip. His kind of people are short of virtue.

What are his intentions for his writing? A person short in virtue might be likely to use fear to achieve their own personal agenda for their own ideals.

The op is obviously coming from a right wing perspective. Take a quick read here through one of the themes of the book.

"In Rules for Radicals, several themes persist throughout Alinsky’s lessons to future community organizers. The most notable is his use of symbol construction to strengthen the unity within an organization. Often, he would draw on loyalty to a particular church or religious affiliation to create a firmly structured organization with which to operate. The reason being that symbols by which communities could identify themselves created strongly structured organizations that were easier to mobilize in implementing direct action. Once the community was united behind a common symbol, Alinsky would find a common enemy for the community to be united against."

Common enemy = liberals?

I don't think Common Enemies would be Liberals.
It could be anybody or group deemed in the way of their goals. Could be conservatives, religious people, Christian bakers, etc.

I realize now that Alinsky was a liberal, however, what I am saying is the people passing this around are using his tactics to gain control of people with right beliefs pitting them against liberal as the common enemy. As far as I can tell, there is no evidence to suggest Alinsky actually wrote the 8 levels of control, they were more likely written by a conservative.

The whole thing appears to be bs. I hadn't heard of Alinsky before this thread, but he initially sounded like a paranoid conservative to me based on the 8 levels thing.

Conservatives are not about control.
