Does anyone here have experience with doing a 1/2 fill on a motor and machining?

I'm assuming it has to be done before hand, well 99% sure.

I'm also curious who I should go to, to have my motor machined with the kiggly main girdle.

Thanks

I want to be able to trust whoever does it and not be their first few.

Didn't the moon taxi run a 1/2 filled block? Maybe hit up John and see if he did and if he did what he did

I was just poking my finger into the long block that was 1/2 filled..(Johns) I disassembled the the thing. His race car is fully filled neither had any temp issues in driving around the streets i know that, i would shoot him a PM....its definitely not no walk in the park and i was discouraged from doing it to mine with the Goal of 650 wheel and a 62 series Precision come spring ...maybe your goals will call for a 1/2 fill though PM or text him :)

I am doing a half fill, I need someone that can do the machining and has experience with it I'm not looking to be a guinea pig.

So far I haven't heard anything, to be fair I haven't looked into it other than this post.

Do you need this? Unless you are going huge, seems like a lot to mess with for no good reason.

Yes. Longevity and reliability being the key here, I've done my research and I wish to build a motor to hold up to whatever it may see.
I Already have a kiggly main girdle and ARP main studs.
