I never claimed it was. In the same mention you won't read anywhere in the Bible to kill all infidels. Or things of this nature.

Looks like you need to read it more:

All religions are riddled with blood of people that chose not to follow them. Its a ridiculous institution that has no place in modern and future societies. This is my opinion.
If your religion whatever it may be, causes you to hurt other people, or look down on them because they think differently, or causes you to molest little kids. YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG.

I agree with Steve and Jets comments. Doesn't matter what or who you are as long as you are a decent person.

It's a point in time where some nut jobs are doing things which are not consistent with the religion of Islam (Muslims), but are doing what they are doing under the guise of a religion. Amongst the majority (moderate Muslims), the second a person commits these acts, they are out of bounds of the religion and we no longer consider them true Muslims.

Historically, this has happened to all/in all religions.

Fact is, there are somewhere between 1.2-1.5 billion Muslim's on earth. The majority are peace loving good people who actually follow the intentions of the reliogion, not look for some verbiage they can distort and use to their liking.

Like in most cases, people who decide they will condemn large groups for the acts of a few.. it comes from ignorance of facts.

Exactly my take also. I was raised Lutheran, but I have grown to not believe in organized religion. I agree with most of the morals they teach. You don't have to be religious to be a good person and just because you are religious does not make you a good person.

Unlike many religious people I do not hold their religion against them (my family is a prime example of this) nor do I push my views on them. Your beliefs are your own and it is propaganda if you try to push them on others.

Disagree. That's what the mainstream media is pushing, but "terrorists" are all over doing all sorts of wrong things. It's at their (media) liberty to label at will, and it's not spread evenly.

The media topic is bigger than this thread, so believe whatever I guess.

Thinking all Muslims are terrorists is like thinking all Christians are members of the KKK. Fear makes for irrational interpretations of things.
