That very first year of PG, I most enjoyed Friday because it was absolutely wide open, you could hot lap the entire day if you really wanted to. Were they wide open this year too on Friday?

If someone could only attend Saturday or Sunday for drag racing, what would be the best day and why?

Sunday because lots of people leave on Sunday for some reason, so there is less people.

Saturday, lots of people leave on Sunday for some reason. So much so that we've discussed only drag racing on Friday and Saturday.

So qualify say friday and sat, with eliminations sat. afternoon?
That would be perfect, then maybe open the lanes sunday if you even had drag racing for heads-up grudge type stuff?

Cool, I just replied and asked for saturday if I can get one day off, please update us if/once you guys decide.

Any update on this decision?
I'm hoping to still compete in SA/U

Don't you have a tubular mani and 5858 now? I haven't seen your car in forever, so don't remember now.

Are the people who are leaving actually racing or are they there just partying most of the weekend and maybe making a disappointing pass or two? If they're partying, who cares? Let them leave. That's not the point of the event and sadly for most attendees that's what it has become.

This is actually the reason for me never wanting to really go, beside the fact my car is always down/broken lol. Seems like this event is a bit of a shit show, however it sounds like there are areas to camp (or hotel it) where you can avoid this.

I want to just go to an event and race with "adults" who can have just a beer or two around the fire at night and then go to bed and get up for all day racing action.

We have the mitsu cruise for the whole partying/car event :) I don't see how people would want to party and then get up to race anyway...maybe I am getting old but shit the next day after partying I am out of commission now a days lol.
