These things have navigation and can be loaded pretty good. ( I was meant to put that in my original post)
On a realistic note, it would be nice to have a warrantied car that would be driven a lot and have some comforts.
With that said, I'd pick up an older civic in the same price range, I looked at them when i was getting my BMW and they come insanely loaded from what civics used to be. (heated seats, nav, maybe remote start)

That being said, I am starting to regret not finding an AWD vehicle with better gas mileage. I'm lucky to get 24.
DAFUQ?
When I was using a Kizashi as a loaner last time my car was down, I was getting like 34 highway, and about 29 combine.

You guys should just get a bike for good gas mileage, I guarantee it'll be more fun as well!
Yes very practical for the weather we've been having this year :P

Dunno man. The best I have ever gotten was 26.5 or so on a roadtrip.
Average is 23-24.5 area mixed driving lots of highway.
Worst is 22.

These things became like the Eclipse; completely different from what they originally were. All downhill. It would be cool if someone bought one and AWD swapped it with an Evo. motor.
I won't lie; it's so cheap I thought about getting one.

I'm still tempted to pick up either a used/off-lease Mirage or iMiev this fall to use as my bad weather beater.

It is werid, but i'd vote iMiev... either way it is a super basic, slow, and boring to drive.... but one of them you don't have to fill with gas.

Exactly my thoughts. No gas, no maintenance besides cabin air filters and the occasional tires/brakes, and with my current commute I could get to work & back for an entire week on a single charge.
