Buy a different engine?
I just had this one rebuilt this summer. With 2.4 crank , eagle rods and cp pistons and head work :frown:
I hopping to salvage as much as possible.
In all honestly im thinking of using a engine life on it.
If anyone is in the Zimmerman area and wants to give it a whack let me know :/

Probably not much point, if the engine got that hot it is junk anyway. How long did you wait to put coolant in it? If it wasn't 2+ hours then you cracked the block on it if it wasn't already cracked.
I used hot water. Kind of counter intuitive. But I figured it wouldnt crack the block......

bummer man. yes we are teasing because it's not ours so naturally we don't care like its ours and we could blow it up no worries. but seriously I would try an engine hoist and big rubber mallet as u lift.

So you had 130* water going in a 300*+ block. See my last post.

Well my first issue is getting the head off. Realistically as long as the internals are fine. Im not too upset. Shit happens I guess.
Just more money down the pit I guess :/
