If they're the reverse bolting nuts, you probably have to double stud it and hammer it out in an opposite forward direction.

The washers should come out with a needle nose pliers thats how i pull mine out after that the head ahould just pull up even if the studs are in
they would have to be bent or the head has to be hella warped
or stuck on the dowl things

Take a sawzall and cut between the head and block haha!

Give some heat by the dowel pin. That will help loosen up the corrosion if any.

I'm pretty sure he had his head off this summer so corrosion shouldn't be an issue. I would get all the head studs out first to make sure those are causing/adding to the problem

hook an engine hoist to the head and pull that motha off. how hard can it be.
or ask cornfed for that bfh.

Take a torchto it and head up the all around the block a little cool it down rinse and repeat shock it a little bit, and wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah...worked for my head :) the wiggle part ha! You got this!

Probably not much point, if the engine got that hot it is junk anyway. How long did you wait to put coolant in it? If it wasn't 2+ hours then you cracked the block on it if it wasn't already cracked.
