Few little modz to this thing came in last week, just the basics:

This thing spikes to 10psi at 1800rpm and immediately falls to a solid 8psi for the rest of the powerband! stump-pullin truck stuff!

Nice little boost tap setup on the IM:

Found a freaking *mint* set of floor mats out in the dumpster, crazy! The ones that came with it were generic all-season mats that got in the way of the clutch and generally fit like arse. Since manual passats are like 1% of what was made, nobody makes all-season mats for them, only the autos.

I soiled them immediately. truck stuff.

Also found this roadie cubby, def big enough for a tall mickey's!

Lastly, there's this stupid motor mount on these transverse VW's called a 'dogbone' that is just way too loose from the factory. They make these wierd gap-filling inserts that are cheap and smooth out shifting *very* nicely.

Mine came looking like this:

But apparently the Passat one is different than Jetta/GLIs so I just hacked it up a bit and it cussed at it a bit and got it to squish in:

It's supposed to slide in kinda like this, but mine of course I had to press in with a jack and plenty-o-lube :D

Looks shitty but it definitely does the trick! Came with a nice thick-ass washer and extra-long bolt to secure it to the chassis. Leaving from a stop and grabbing gears is much more linear now!
