So whos all headed to proving grounds? Can someone fill me in on how this all works. I have never actually been to a track to drag race before.
I plan on entering the stock appearing class.

So do you have to pay an entrance fee and a fee to drag race?

yes both? or any other racing. it's all on maps proving grounds page. along with schedule class restrictions. helmut requirement may not be but u'll need a snell 2005 or newer. etc etc etc. I wanna say weekend pass is $35 per person and $25 for drag racing.

I'm probably going to head up saturday and be around for sunday events. Not sure what all I will be entering into yet.
Basically you pay your entrance fee at the gate, then once inside you go to the main showroom and buy wristbands for autoX, drag, etc...
Then go tech for your various events (this is at scheduled times) and then you basically just run your own schedule and bounce from event to event as needed, pay close attention to heat times or expected start times and listen to the PA's or over the radio (they broadcast locally).

Oh, and whenever you are not racing/preparing for racing, you are required by law to have an open beer in your hand and an unopened one in your off hand or in your pocket :) We have *a lot* of fun!
