Just picked up my driveshaft and I am kinda of worried. I put it beside the old one and its only 2 inches longer. I guess I will find out this weekend if its long enough. The drive shaft on the left is the new one and its a lot bigger then the old one.

I worked on the truck this weekend and got real far. I had some trouble with the drive shaft fitting in the safety loop. I have a long list of stuff I want to do before driving the truck daily. I need to clean up the wiring harness, build a dump pipe for the waste gate, replace some t bolt clamps, fix the exhaust, build a battery tie down, fix headliner, need a electric fan. Hopefully this coming weekend I can get most this done. The new transmission is a real neck snapper... Once I daily it for awhile I plan on getting new valve springs and push rods so I can turn the boost up.

Slip yoke should stick out at most an inch from the transmission. And the car has to be on the ground to get a running position.

Little update today. My 14 inch electric fan showed up today. I plan on mounting the fan this week and hopefully get the radiator secured. Once that's all done I need to build a dump tube for the wastegate. Once that's all done iam going to start driving the beast. I also bought some plasti dip to paint the chrome bumpers black. I will take before and after pics

Got the new fan installed a couple weeks ago. It works great and keeps the truck cool so far. I hope its enough fan for summer temperatures. I just finished plasti dipping the rear bumper and the driver side wheels. I also took off the driver side chrome bed protector. I would like to plasti dip the wheel well moldings some time.

Digging the dipped rear bumper. I like the wheels better as they were, but to each their own. Can't wait to see this thing ripping around town!
