View Full Version : where is the best place to get a rod bearing replaced ?
Need to get it torn apart first to see if the rods and crank are even any good.

what do i look for? warps, visable scratches, discoloration ?
Scratches on the crank and discoloration on the rods. If they got hot they are likely warped, at the minimum they will be weaker.

it spun on the dyno and was not run long after that. im hoping the damage is minimal

Unfortunately not as much as I wanted to. I dont have a garage right now. So its been tough. I dont want to start pulling things apart and have no place to set things and store them safely
