Very cool. I'm happy MHI finally caught on to the billet craze. This just means we need to push the envelope even further.

MHI is no stranger to billet. Remember the Greddy T88s back in the day? Those were all mitsu.

But now they are branding it as their own and it's a bolt on turbocharger, not requiring a "kit"

This turbo will still require all the same supporting mods as an fp green car would.

There is a shop with a crazy forward facing manifold 16g car, i guess its going to get an evo X turbo so they can compete in stock appearing class at the shootout next year.

Billet of the same material is actually stronger than cast, the graining structure in the metal lines up better. In this case that allows thinner blades for better flow and spool. The part I don't like about billet is the ridges created on the surface of the blades. I have seen marketing try to pass it off as a positive, but I don't see how it could be.
