How much power have you made on the 16g?
You should be able to make 400 Dynojet on that, so you are looking for 100 extra HP right?
Fuck a map short block. Put in a stock 2.0, cams, keep 16g, get a cheap smim and spray a 100 shot at. Done and done

I'm not aiming for a certain number, I'd just be happy with anything past 500+ all i'm saying
If I'm gonna put an engine back in, It's gonna be built just so I don't have to worry about it later on.
The Jm Fab drag mani was just a suggestion, I don't know which mani to use yet, why I asked eariler :) Basically I was trying to figure out which turbo would be best for the fb manifold if I did wanna go that route(which the 5858 ball bearing seems to be my best bet)
I'm gonna do a new fuel system, probably fic 2150s so I'm set with injectors and don't have to worry that later on. Probably get the GSC S2 camshafts also.

What I'd do for 500hp
Stock 6 bolt or 98-99 7 bolt arp hardware on connecting rods
Gasket matched head with Evo beehives with GSC1 cams
L19s with permatorque
Billet 5858 cea
SS o2 housing w/gate provision
FP race mani
1100 FIC hi-z
255 rewired w/ BAP
Evo3 intake
N/T throttle body
I didn't add link, vrsf fmic, ect. Assuming you have that stuff
I think that would get to to 500 at DB.
As far as the manifold, go with the JMF street or Race if you plan on a 6266.

A built motor would be nice for high compression ratio or for a stroker.

Definitely be a 2.0 built engine,
More research im doing.. I'm leaning more towards the 6266BB t3 not sure between .63 or .82
And which tubular mani to choose from. The MAP mani kit is real nice.

I watched a 5858 do 450 at 25psi with 2.5" exhaust, stock tb, im, small cams, small intake pipe.
6266 is a beast though, I vote you do it asap!

Shearer non-divided T4 manifold, S300sx 91-80 .88 divided T4, QSV, AMS SMIM, AEM Infinity, stock trans.

Shearer divided T6 front facing manifold, S500 88 .85 divided T6, Supra SMIC, nitrous, FTW Purple, RVR intake manifold, AEM Infinity, stock trans, stock 1G BOV.
