Wow, those are pretty shocking when all the facts get put in to place. Fighters were 20 minutes away, they probably could have scared those guys away just buzzing them with a pair of F-16's. The marine on the ground had the targets lit with a laser, one laser guided bomb and they are toast. I don't get it. 6:20 long fight and you could have had troops on the ground in 2...

I was waiting for a Tom response, but wasn't expecting THAT bad of one. WTF Tom, Americans were getting killed and the people that were making the call did nothing. Unfuckinacceptable. You do what ever is neccesary to get those people out alive, bombing or not.

You might change your tune if you knew those people that were killed.

Yeah, an embassy is treated as american soil. Would you be ok with Canada firing mortors at International Falls? Cuba firing rockets at Florida? Where do you draw the line?
