Thanks everyone. Its almost that time and I'm so damn pumped lol. I wanted to get it painted but after I thought about it I changed my mind. This isn't exactly the kind of event you want to run with a fresh paint job lol

Is the car all tuned up and ready to go? Good luck.car was tuned at 29psi on just a couple street pulls for safe afr's. Im happy at results looking at the amount time of tuning. I know it would have hit 160+ on 2nd pass but throttle cable bracket broke and that was it for me..

We finally got to the dyno today. Everyone been waiting to see what this lil turbo can do lol. Reichen and the shop were asked what did I think the car was going to put down. They said 500ish. I never told anyone but in my mind I figured 600ish and I stood firm on that lol. It wasn't the best day to hit the rollers since temps in dyno showed 97* but oh well. 1st pull tach didn't give good signal and numbers were off showing 695whp and 900ft/lbs lol. The Afr were at 11.1 but someone at a meet/car show i went to turned up my boost to 33psi (it was at 29psi). the tune was conservative so it didnt hurt the motor but we noticed a little knock so mike pulled 1* of timing. 2nd pull afr leaned out to 11.7, 12* peak timing @ 33psi car made 693whp 527ft/lbs but then oil pump took a shit . We're pretty sure the engine noise logged was from oil pump going bad. With a little more tuning I'm hoping for around 730-750ish at 33psi then we turn boost up to 40-42psi . For the record this is a dynojet. i'll be back to update once we get back on the rollers.

Right at the end of pull a little cloud of smoke appeared. Fan blew oil onto downpipe. It may not even be the oil pump. Oil Pressure didn't drop but it was leaking a very tiny trail of oil. I had that issue before when the 10an aluminum fitting to the oil cooler cracked. I just can't find a steel one. But it is one of the two issues and we just didn't want to chance it. It wasn't worth it.

Well i was incorrect about the dyno pull. It was to 10,000rpm. The shop found the oil leak and it wasn't the oil pump. The car vibrated the fittings to the oil cooler loose. They modded the fittings with wires so they wont come loose again. I went out and did some pulls immediately after that and a saw a oil leak again. This shit is crazy. The leak was now coming from the oil pressure sending unit. they go to try to tighten in in and it falls off and hits the ground lol. The brass fitting broke in the middle of the threads with the other half was still in the block!!!! that is now fixed. Im getting phantom knock in the logs. I know its not the motor so once I find what is causing it i'll hit the rollers again.

Race car problems. :(Yeah lol. the real issue is the car is setup to drive on the street. It actually drives much better then the average dsm. But its so damn loud and vibrates so much it's almost not worth driving on the street. And the way it revs can't help. revs like a damn motorcycle.
