Nice that you fixed it. But not sure other than maybe slave was loose? (not bolted down)

All but 1 tranny bolt were COMPLETELY missing, thus causing the transmission to separate from the motor.
Whoever put it in last didn't use thread locker and probably didn't use a torque wrench either.
I actually still haven't gotten it fixed as I ran out of time, but I grabbed a loaner car and will get it done tonight after work.

Glad its at least a cheap/easy fix.
I've never used thread locker on tranny bolts and never torqued them down to spec either. Just get them as tight as you can has been my torque value haha

Yeah I don't know if I'll be able to torque them all down since they're in such hard to reach places. The only thing is that the tranny is kind of clocked (probably resting on the dowels) so I'll need to loosen the motor mounts to be able to rotate it slightly (it's barely off, but enough to where a bolt won't thread).

I bet one or both of your dowels have fallen out or broken off. This problem almost only happens when those are missing. With that many miles on a modded car, it can definitely happen.

IF it's solid motor mounts, i guess I'd maybe blue loctite them.

tranny was pushing away from the block? Or other words the bolts were loose on the block. Either way glad you fixed it and it probably was a free easy fix since nothing is open today and by the sounds of it you got it fixed.

Yeah, solid motor mounts. And I did blue loctite them :)
The transmission has never shifted smoother than it does now. Like butter. I'm guessing that some of the bolts have been missing for a while now. Luckily nothing else seems to have been effected.
To get the tranny clocked we undid the front engine/tranny mount and used a floor jack to get it where it needed to be.
Thanks for the help guys! Much appreciated.Damn Im good!!! Do I win $25 LOL if so here my paypal
