I spy a LIPP part in the blue there, what is it? Looks like a MAF adapter of some sort?

It's a LIPP intake adapter for a Supra for the boys over at SupraSport.com

How does powder coating hold up to taking lugs off and on, especially using an impact on them?

Honestly I'm not sure, these are the first few sets of lug nuts we've done so I haven't heard much. Using an impact and basically any metal on metal rubbing is going to wear off any coating over time. What I have heard is that there are plastic lug keys available that would help the longevity of them by eliminating that metal on metal contact.

I coated some lugnuts black awhile back for my friend Austin. He didn't use an impact, but even with him using hand tools (metal not plastic), it only took a few times of taking them on and off for them to start wearing. I don't think using an impact would be a great idea on them.

I had some done and they didn't seem to last that long, now they look like crap. But I wonder if using that plastic key Tim was talking about would help.
