I made some more progress on the motor. If I manage to find some time this weekend the car might be running. Right now my goal is to have it track ready by PG2. As it sits right now I just need to hook up the wireing harness install the radiator and intercooler pipes and put on the transfer case.

on to pictures.

Nice! It'd be cool to see it make some passes at proving grounds!

IT'S ALIVE. .
I got the car all together and started yesterday. Today I the did some break in pulls. Following the motoman break in procedure. It runs smooth and feels a little stronger off boost. I plan on changing the oil tomarrow and running out the E70 left in my tank before turning it up. PG2 here we come.

The car has been running great. I carpool to work, so my wife has been daily driving it for me. I think she has driven more miles sine the new engine than I have. I did take it for a long drive last week and was super excited when I drove the whole time with the AC on with no overheating issues. Saturday I retorqued the head studs and looked everything over. it seams good. I still haven't turned the boost up. I think part of me is scared its going to blow up again even though I know the new motor can take it. Im thinking of passing on proving grounds. I just don't have the money to waste right now, but well see.
