Well, I decided to look back at my credit card transactions today and found out that I just passed the $10,000 mark for my motor! Yes, this is for just my motor and the supporting mods, it does not include the cost of my car or any exterior/interior modifications. 10 g's on performance baby, now I just need to get it running ;)

"I see a cold air intake, it's got a NOS fogger system and a T4 turbo, Dominick, I see an AIC controller, it has direct port nitrous injection..."

"Yeah, and a standalone fuel management system. Not a bad way to spend ten thousand dollars..."

When I looked at my cards a year ago I was scared. I believe its worth it if you want the good stuff and the car to run the way you want. Good for you. This is America, lets spend $$$ and have fun. :bounce:

What engine, internals, turbo you get if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah, it just ended up costing a lot more than expected... I think the take what you plan on spending, multiply it by two and add 20% rule is pretty accurate ;)

As far as my motor it is 7 bolt 4G64, Wiseco pistons, eagle rods, fully balanced and blueprinted, T3/T4 56 trim turbo with .82 A/R exhaust housing, AGP Spearco 2-216 front mount, 850's, DSMlink, Crower 414 cams, Crower valvetrain, etc...

Nothing special ;)

Yeah, it sucks how fast it adds up and you don't really realize it. That's why I want out and pay the shit off. Next time around (if there is one) it will be cash only.

I feel your pain Chris! :(

That shouldnt cost $10k. Unless there are alot of misc. unecessary parts. I'm still well under the $10k mark.
