yeah i know id just get evo if i was going that route + not knocking swifty but id like to build my own a maybe set a record for a mitsu flanged turbo setup.?
i have a huge bullseye bep housing on there already i dont think its a 55 ar its seems a lil bigger it dont fit maps 02 housing too small by like 2 in the out let hole is 3 3/4 almost 4 in and the inlet is bigger too for the hot side for a hx it pulls ungodly for such small boost like 15psi im still looking for the 6 blade and the 40 pro cover that is said to flow 70lb min at 42 psi winter im tearing the engine down to get o ringed ;-) i want no head gasket issues
got some l19s too to combat the head lifting
my shopping list just for the head i want to build is :spin:spin i should have all the parts for it by next summer 2k+

FYI your record would have to beat an ET of 9.10 or mph of 160mph.
Now I'll eat my words if you ever do this, but no fucking chance my friend not without nitrous anyway and a lot of it.
Being helpful, search ebay for driveshaft bushings they are only $30 compared to $80 everywhere else.
I'll let you know if I find any of that stuff on my searches.
Oh i have a 30-0-40 boost gauge if that interests you.

You've seen a Holset on 45psi making 650-700? Where?

Theres a hx car on youtube that makes 6xx. I have seen the video but not the car in real life. And its possible to get that power on a dyno jet. Good luck with making it in to the 9s. Your going to need driver mod.

A 2.3, HX40 with the .55 A/R bolt-on housing has made 653whp power band was awesome and so was torque.
But if you attended proving grounds in the last few years you should see that piloting the car proves to be one of the most difficult parts, not to mention other things then just plain ol' power.
