I had a great weekend, the autox course was so fun and being my first time I think I did pretty well. I placed second with a time of 34.154 right behind spaz with his time of 33.628.

Drag racing was alright for me this time around, I ran a 12.7 at best. I was pounding through the gears shifting out of 1-3 at 6k and running 4th all the way out. I'm gonna go back after I put my IX turbo in to see if I can get a taste of 11's. I was getting mostly 1.7-1.9 60 fts.


The drinking was really fun, I had a pretty good time with jim and kevin late saturday night driving shane and mara back to their hotel. Jim was telling kevin to just pound through the gears all the way back to the track. Damn jims car feels fast.


I guess I was supposed to get a trophy for the auto x but never picked it up, any chance anyone knows who I would contact to get it?

Yessir, quite proud of my fabrication skills on this one! I really like having the extra heat shielding back there to be honest, think I might just leave it on there!

Funny thing is my 1g trapped exactly 132.90 7 yrs ago too... weird.

Hahaha. I did do one run "just to see how it is" and it was hilarious. Worse than the street, I kept letting off and hitting the brakes. 14.8 at 98 mph or something because I was laughing the whole way.

I ran a personal best on Saturday of 11.7 @ 118. My 60 foots were demoralizing terrible however. If I tried a normal street launch it would bog, if I did even 500 more RPM, my 4 year old rocks would just get torched. It's amazing how much a drag track can expose flaws in one's launching technique. :score007:
