***SOLD***

Some of you may know me, and may know the car, or if you've gone to the All Mitsu Cookout, you'll likely remember it from there. It even won 1st place in the 3G class when I entered it a few years back. For those that don't know me, I undertook a crazy project about 6 years ago to bolt the stock 9b turbos from my Stealth onto my 2000 Eclipse GT. I had a great time doing it, and even more fun driving it. The car has ran 13.7s (@110mph) up at Brainard (severely taction limited), and has handed out more than it's fair share of highway spankings. But alas, my needs have changed and I find myself looking at SUVs, and selling the only car I can bring myself to let go.
Anyone who has seen my Eclipse recently knows the exterior is in tough shape, somewhat to be expected with 337,000 miles. But reliable it has been. I had an unfortunate incident with the harmonic dampener which took out the timing belt at 205,000 miles, so I did throw a used motor in it (which had 112k on it at the time). Aside from that, it's been pretty routine maintenance. Lots of oil changes and brake jobs. (Brakes were just done last week infact).
So the details:
2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 5 Speed
3.0L 24V V6
Twin TD04-9B Turbochargers
1G DSM Sidemount IC
360cc Injectors and 3S Fuel Rails
Walbro 255HP Fuel Pump
3" GM MAF
MAF-T
Greddy eManage blue
Quaife Limited Slip Differential
I will include a spair pair of 9Bs with 50k miles on them (from Francis Morris's car), and a new '03 Front Bumper.
The bad:
Dent in right rear quarter
Hood and Trunk very rusty
If I wasn't looking for an SUV I would take the driveline out and drop in it a new chassis, as it would be the easiest, quickest way to take care of the exterior problems, but I don't have the time anymore.

I will take an up to date one this evening (obviously it's more grimey now, but for the moment here is one that was taken after the turbo install (in case you're wondering how it all fits).

Fran05: Here's the up to date engine bay pic. Clearly not as pretty :)

MattJ: It's been very reliable for me. 337,000 miles, only get accumlated if it's reliable enough to stay on the road. :) All joking aside, it's been a great car for me, and we're still daily driving it at the moment., we just need a bigger vehicle that can tow, so we can play with the rest of the toys more. :)

John

I've been asked if there are any pics detailing the turbo install, and in hindsight I should have included that link to begin with. Pics of the build can be found at :

Here is the scan of the before vs. after dyno runs made down at RSMotors:
