You didnt happen to mention that there were ALOT of folks at the shop when this went down. I think if anything were to have happened those 3 guys would have been in a world of hurt. And didnt they find some SMOKE in the car too ???

And I wouldnt say that you didnt get anything done. My car was tuned. OK so that was after all of the excitement but it rippes some serious ass just the same.

Dan
Glad you like it :).
It was fun, and I still almost got a tranny built, finished the press, tore down some of a car, and tuned a car :).
fun fun.
glad we could help bucky :).

Allan should have put that a different way, we didn't get as much done as normal. I got a ton of stuff as well done, just not as much as if this wouldn't have happened. It was fun having everyone down for it though, kinda of a "bust the bad guy/eat some pizza" party type thing. It was cool.

I agree as well, Dan's car kicks ass!

It was exciting. I also was wondering. did Bucky and Carl end up offering the other 2 a ride home? ;)

who's home? or should i say, which state? they would be hog tied and driven for few hours away and left in the middle of NO WHERE... afcourse use a small chain and lock around their legs so that they cant walk too fast... and with things writen in permanent marker on their faces. "I"M A THIEF, KICK ME IN THE NUTZ"
and a few more things i could think of to make thier life a bit more misserable.

When will it end?

This morning I wake up around 8:30 to someone knocking on the door. The front door is right by my bedroom window so I hop out of bed and see two cop cars parked on the street, and one officer walking away from the front door toward the parking lot next door. I put on some clothes and go out back by the shop to see what's going on. In the alley the officer asks me who I am, told him I live here and he asked me politely to go back inside. I go in the house and just watch from the kitchen.

The two cops are slowly walking around the shop, peeking in the windows and checking the doors. The other cop comes to the door and asks who's garage it is. I tell him the two guys that live with me own it. He tells me that he needs to speek with one of them, and at that time Mike was on his way out to see what was going on. Turns out there is some nutty lady in a van in the alley that says there is an asian kid or something that is tied up in the shop who was kidnapped and is being held for ransom. The cops search the shop, even the attic, and obviously find nothing. They say it's just as they suspected because apparently this woman was high strung.

So far the St. Paul police aren't all that bad. (Any attitudes from the cops yesterday were justified considering the situation.) The younger cop hung around and started asking Mike and I about cars, and he was saying how he wanted to buy a different car, something that could be had for cheap and be modified for just as much. Nothing better than a DSM! He took a business card and said he would for sure be back in the future.

It's almost 9:30, I'm going to McDonalds before they stop serving breakfast.
