As many of you know I bought Goodhart's 1994 Talon shell. In hopes of being able to enjoy this car this year I have diligently worked to finish this thing ASAP.

What I thought would take 6 months to do I think I will manage to have this up and running next month. I know this thread is pretty worthless without pictures but there really isn't much to see at this point. I'll start posting pictures worth looking at once I start putting her back together.

But I CAN tell you what I am going to be running.

Motor:
2.0L
Wiseco pistons .020 over
Eagle rods
ACL race bearings
ARP main studs
L19 head studs
Crower 280's
Crower valve springs/retainers
(Unsure of what I'm going to do to the rest of the valvetrain)
Poly engine mounts
PTE 6776
FIC 1600cc injectors
Walboro 255 (Working on figuring out my pump needs. The wally is already in the tank)
SMIM (Still deciding on this as well, maybe JM Fab Drag w/Q45 or Accufab 75mm TB)
El cheapo FMIC
TiAL noise maker
COP w/ MSD DSI-2 Ignition Amplifiers <---Only if I have spark issues up top
E85

Drivetrain:
Rebuild and reshim by blackrosenova (Chad)
Jack's Transmission EVO III conversion
Some sort of quality clutch (Unsure of what I'm going to do as of now [PTT or Exedy twin disk???])

Brakes:
I feel like I should upgrade some of the braking components to handle the extra power, but I have yet to really think about it yet.

Suspension:
Still looking in to this, If anyone has any good used 1g AWD suspension for sale, let me know!

Ayy-OOo Technology:
ECMLink V?
AEM UEGO wideband
Auto Meter gauges

Interior, crocodile, alligator I drive a Chevrolet movie theater:
I'm probably gonna need a cage for the track
Either a nice pair of Recaro's or Bride's

Unsure of how much power I'm gonna make, not really gonna set any solid goals yet. Like I said, I'll post up pictures once I get some progress done!

Thanks guys! Scheides, I hope I can make you proud! lol
I ordered my EVO III conversion, and AEM wideband today. Jack, from Jack's Transmisson's called me again after I placed my order to let me know that a few parts are at the machine shop and should be back ready for shipping on Monday....At least I'll have my wideband to look at until I get the EVO III parts.

I also pulled the rest of the power steering, and degreased the engine bay and subframe. All I have to do is sand some of the rust off and rattle can parts of the subframe black again.

Plans for the first week of the month will be to order the rest of my valvetrain parts and get the short block put together. I also have to pull the motor out of my '95 so I can figure out what the fuck I'm going to do with that thing.

I was going to wire tuck it before I threw the motor in, but for the sake of getting it tuned and ready for at least dyno day and/or proving grounds I figured I can stand looking at it like this until next winter. Well, until I get some yummy fun parts to take pictures of I'll spare you guys the pain of reading.
