I wish I could make it to this event since I have never been to one of these events, Im new to the DSM world and I was finally able to buy one last year, It was my dream car since I was 13 and Im now 21, But Im probably not gonna be able to come because its about a 1 1/2 hour drive from me and money is tight at the moment and I already purchased tickets for the Powercruise event in July.


I'm going for the day saturday. I'll be leaving Big Lake at 6am if you want a ride. you'll have to deal with my 3 year old daughter talking the whole way and kicking your seat for 2 hr though. I'm shure there will be alot of people comeing through Big Lake on there way willing to give you a lift too.

I would skip the hotel for sure. Camping is free with a weekend entry. The after hours fun is well worth the trip itself!


for helmets will dennis kirk, or bobs cycle carry a helmet that will work?Both should sell helmets that work. You need a snell 2005 rated helmet, anything older will not work. I think at a retail location, you wouldn't find anything older, but it's possible. Read the inner tag, or sometimes it's placed on the back of the helmet.

If you ask a sales person for this, they should know what you're referring to.

The road course info I got said a Snell 2000 helmet will work, and other rules with the MAP logo on them said '95 and up... which is it?
